We chat to mum Kendall Roberts about all things motherhood.
Miracle.
Newborn snuggles, the first feed and seeing our son as a big brother.
Belly oil and moisturiser day and night, a walk by the water, taking a day nap
when needed.
I work from home doing digital support for international insurance members.
Feeling the kicks and rolls when baby moves around. I also love when my toddler points to my belly and says baby and gives my tummy a kiss, it's so special.
about being pregnant
Being pregnant is truely amazing. One thing that really surprised me though is the fact that you can start producing colostrum so early! I had no idea before I was pregnant that this was a thing, I just assumed it all happened once you gave birth.
Being a patient person definitely helps but I think I have especially found it important to rest when I can. Sometimes that means taking a nap when my toddler does, going to bed early or staying home when my husband takes our son out on an adventure I would usually tag along on.
Will not to get so caught up in other people's advice or read too many online forums. It can be so overwhelming becoming a mum and you only want the best for your baby, but I have learnt that you really do instinctively know what is best for your baby and sometimes that means sticking to your intuition is key.
