One week postpartum and I'm so so glad I bought myself this cami in preparation. It's so comfy and gentle on boobs that are full of new milk and leaking as they please! Especially good to sleep in (I don't like the idea of sleeping in a bra.) Will be buying another for the washing rotation!

Comfortable! Love the scalloped edge making it look less like maternity-wear and more like a chic singlet. The fabric is so soft, making it really comfortable to wear under a shirt or on its own as a singlet

Featuring built-in, non-removable leakproof layers along with a feminine, chic scallop design with adjustable spaghetti straps, this cami will become your go-to maternity piece that you'll see on high rotation.

Designed to be mixed and matched with your entire wardrobe during each season of the year, this cami can be worn 'as-is' during summer with your favourite pair of jeans or for those cooler months it can be transformed into the perfect layering piece to give you warmth.

Boasting a soft hand feel thanks to it's sustainable botanic fabrics, it's a true throw-on piece that will keep you feeling confident, comfortable and leak-free.

A non-maternity design with no fiddly nursing clips to deal with, it's ultra stretchy so it can be pulled up or down over the breast whilst you nurse around the clock. You can also drop the strap over your shoulder to breastfeed with ease.

A favourite of ours - it's the perfect item to pack in your hospital bag.

The cami is not padded but features a hidden shelf bra tank.

For best results:
Wash the garment before first wear to activate the leakproof layers.

For woman with heavy letdown and leakage, these garments have been designed for light to medium flow to prevent the bras carrying too much milk. If letdown is heavy we advise to use a silicone milk collector that can be placed inside the garment or wear pads that you can take out during the night / day to keep nipple health in check and to not oversaturate the leakproof layers. Letdowns can be heavy in the first few weeks postpartum and generally settle over a period of time.

  • Mumma Milla has been designed to move and grow with your body from pregnancy-to-postpartum.
  • Sizes are based on 'bust' size, rather than body size.
  • The best way to establish your Mumma Milla size is with a tape measure, measuring your bust and underbust in cm's/ inches.

Absorbency

  • Best results: light to medium leakage only
  • Nipple health is at top of mind for us. If you experience heavy leakage/let-down it's imperative not wear an over saturated bra.
  • To help with oversupply or heavy leakage, silicone milk collectors or re-usable bamboo nursing pads can be worn alongside your leakproof bralettes.

Care

  • Mumma Milla Leakproof bralettes are a delicate intimate created from with a very fine knit
  • Delicate machine wash in a garment bag, or gentle hand wash in cool water
  • Once washed, garments need to be laid flat on a clothes rack / line for even drying/ retaining shape
  • Wash and dry dark and light colours separately
  • Do not iron. Do not dry clean. Do not tumble dry

When can I start wearing a Leakproof Bra?

  • Our leakproof bras have been designed for pregnancy-to-postpartum and beyond, so you can start wearing them as soon as you’d like!
    Generally, breastmilk leaks occur when your milk comes in post-birth, however some mothers can experience leaking prior to giving birth, so the leakproof layers provide confidence.
  • Mumma Milla bras are wire free, designed for maximum comfort with a soft and stretchy fabric
    to grow with you from first to fourth trimesters.
  • Mums even wear the bralettes once their breastfeeding journey has finished!

How much milk can a bra absorb?

  • We have designed our leakproof bras to capture as much milk as possible, however, our bras cannot keep up with extreme milk loss unfortunately.
  • We believe that it’s not healthy to wear a bralette that ‘carries’ too much milk, so our bras
    have been designed for light-to-moderate milk flow only.
  • Milk leakage generally settles once your milk supply has established itself and knows baby’s
    needs.
